Ok I am in a very small town in oklahoma, I am a fitness/tanning. There are 3 other business with tanning also none have more that 3 beds nothing fancy either. I only have 2 beds my self plus the fitness, it seems fitness and tanning season run the same on slow seasons. I have been open 1 year jan. 23 so i have made it that far, but times are bad right now. People here are not motivated much you really have to push them. I am needing help how to bring them in without spending lots of money. What special to run . New Year's ? Prom ? Valentines? When? I do carry some belly rings, toe rings, and of course some tanning lotion and fitness products. I would like to keep my business, I just can't seem to get my mind to work on how to do it. Any help appreciated

All I can suggest is to read on here, you can get lots of ideas!! Go around to some of the businesses in your area and leave a card and invite them to come in and see your place, offer them a free tan or work out. -or- have a drawing for a free week to work out and tan, have some signs made and put them in area businesses you may even have them to come into your place to register. I just got a wonderful idea on the Valentines Specials that I am using this year, I am contacting a florist and putting a free tan card in their baskets or in the card with the flowers sent out on Val. Day. Just look on this site, you'll get some good ideas.

You are in the right mode for additional profit centers. That is a good idea. But you want to do womthing that people are going to come back specifically for you for. With you being in the fitness arena, I would recommend some sort of health and nutrition line. We carry anti-aging and health and nutrition products in our salon and they move quite well.

If you would like more information, you can contact me at steague@caribbeantan.net, I would be more than willing to give you more information.

Patience, IF you have a nice fitness facility, and the area you located in needed such a facility. Then the customers should start coming in any day now. All data shows you will sell nearly 70% of your fitness memberships in the first 10 weeks of the year. The fitness business is one of the countries fastest growing industries.
