TINYe sure i can get you a great deal on a new Ergoline bed if your in my Territory. No its not only the filter glass that "adjust" the uv rays it also depens on the percentage of the high pressure facial.

You are wrong. Lamps do not emit UVC. UVC is the cancer causing ray, which is why depleting the ozone layer is a serious concern. It is the ozone layer that filters out harmful "C" rays.

Show me a lamp that emits this...indoor tanning is safer, good selling point, for this reason..no cancer causing C-ray.

Studio - actually, you are not entirely correct.

Straight from Smart Tan here ya go: "High-Pressure Tanning Beds. A high-pressure system generally utilizes 12-24 quartz lamp systems mounted in a canopy and generally use an upholstered surface for the tanner to lie on. Each lamp system generates 400 to 2,000 watts of tanning power, so the system runs very hot. Output is generally more than 99 percent UVA, with only a fraction of UVB in the mix. Critical to the operation is the glass filter placed in front of the small quartz lamp. In a high-pressure system, the lamps themselves emit UVA, UVB and UVC light. The filter allows only UVA and a tiny fraction of UVB light through to the tanner. If the filter is mis-aligned or cracked, tanners can suffer severe burns, so correct maintenance of this product is especially critical."

High pressure beds EMIT UVC but the filter glass blocks all of it (we hope).

Do some research Studio and Genius ALL High pressure lamps emitt Uvc rays. The glass is what blocks it.Also for your information body lamps also put out small amounts of UVC because of the mercury thats put into them the glass that they are made of blocks it.

You're right. High pressure lamps do emit UVC and that is why they are behind filters.
