Our landlord plows the parking lot and shovels the walkways. He also puts some kind of chemical snow melt on the walks which I would prefer he not do because I'd just had my floors stripped and rewaxed last summer and whatever the stuff was that he put on the walk ate through the finish on my newly redone floors. I told him about this and all he did was say "yeah, that stuff will do that". SO QUIT USING IT IN FRONT OF MY DOOR!! I will take care of the ice removal myself, or he can pay to have my floors redone...yeah like that will ever happen. We are supposed to get between 6-10" of snow starting tonight through Wednesday night. I live 8 miles N. of town in the hills and hollows. Good thing my daughter is scheduled to work tomorrow. She lives in a apartment complex across the road from the business. She could walk if she had to. In fact she might HAVE to. She drives a Ford Mustang and it's not front wheel drive.
