The NTTI is 105.00 and the Smart Tan looks to be 40.00. So, what? Are they just trying to rip you off?

We went with SmartTan just because they were at the Orlando show. I can't say anything about NTTI, but the SmartTan owner certification course was really good IMHO. I don't think you should be allowed to open a salon without attending a course like theirs. (*** "LIKE" theirs...not saying their's is the only/best/yada...I just thought it was packed with very good information that will save you a lot of heartache down the road)

Check out American Tanning Institute the training Director is Rick Mattoon R.T (ARRT) Rick developed the program for NTTI. Now he is on his own. I think with his Background you know you are getting an incredible program!

did anyone see him on the show Mythbusters?
the course is about the same price as smart tan the website is www.tanningprogram.com

Smart Tan and NTTi manuals are both available online if I'm not mistaken have a look at what they have to offer for the prices charged. I'm Smart Tan Certified. The new one is a mystery to me.

How many employees are you needing trained and certified?

American Tanning Institute offers 12 months unlimited training certifications for $195. http://www.tanningprogram.com/

Also, American Tanning Institute is the trainer for the Today's Image Las Vegas Expo in June.

I use NTTI for the spray tan and Smart Tan for the Tanning...My store is also a Smart Tan member...they have helped me and gave me advice on many things....worth their weight in GOLD!!! Have a great day... P.S. Most of us are crossed trained (both companies) one can never learn tooo much....

I agree. Education is a must. You can never stop learning and if you love the subject matter all the better.
