help with suntouch plus please!!!

i am having trouble with suntouch saying clients are tanning w/o package even though they have a current package. cannot figure out how to go in and fix this so we have to manually go in and deduct their visits and if the girls forget they just got a free visit. greatly appreciate any advice! thank you.

bottomzup, you have to go in to the Setup area, then services (bottom left of screen), and take a look at each package you have set up. If you have visit packages, you need to select sessions in the type section, and then to the right of that type in the # of sessions allowed for this package. Also, be sure you let the system know which beds the package is good for under the restriction area.

Hope this helps. If you still have your manual, or the manual on the CD it walks you through it in there as well.

Also after you do that....I would set each unit 'station' ( in set up) to get sent to the register for the walk in amount you would normally charge.
That ensures no one can override it without being charged. I do not know what version you have....I am not at the salon right now.
I will write down the steps to do this when I go to the salon tomorrow..if you would like.

I ask my girls to go to register and ring up a single visit rather then pull up a clients name and click them in a bed. ONLY if they are slamming busy..because that throws my reports off. ( Suntouch records puchases like that as surcharges)But if you look in their sales history it Shows Tanned w/no package" I kind of like to know how many single visits I sell. So I do not like when they do that.

There is another option. You can set it that NO ONE can Tan without ring up a package and/or single visit. If you do not want to do what I posted above. I will have to look in set up ...I will get back to you on that.

Yes, MJ is right on, that is the best way to ring up single visits, it drove me crazy at first with surcharges on the reports!

I have had that problem to before, cant figure it out. I just hit yes to let them tan anyway.
