I can not believe this topic, barter bed cleaning for free tans.

Are you kidding me, Electrician...Rye. I must be so out dated, I did not know we accept trinkets for payment.

You've never had a tradesperson who is a friend, that has help you out without an invoice being presented? Hmmmmmm. You need better friends.

I never realized bartering child labor for tanning services was so popular in Canada.

In the US, we have minimum wage laws, child labor laws, workers compensation requirements, and strict payroll tax laws and OSHA enforcement.

And I pay around $1.00/hr above minimum wage to keep good help. McDonalds starts kids at $7.00/hr here!

According to your interpretation, you wouldn't be able to accept any "free" help from anyone and then give them a gift as a token or your gratitude.
