In all the salons I have been in over the years for my own tanning needs, it seems that for the most part everyone gives 3 mins of time before the bed fires-up to apply lotion etc.... The question I have is, does anyone out there give a longer time to the clients to prepare themself for tanning??
The reasoning behind it is, I'm 6'4" and I have to rush to get the lotion on,(lots of skin to cover )I always thought it would be nice to have a little extra time to apply your lotion and make sure you had even coverage.... |

You'll be able to decide how much time is good when busy season hits and you need those beds and slow *** Sally needs 10 minutes to take off makeup, remove and carfully fold clothes etc. Then another 5 to get dressed and reapply makeup. Like I said we just give them 3 mins unless they ask for more - it's really not an issue here.

when run 20min units with 5mins your not only allowing the customer more time but also giving the unit a little more time to cool off. A cool unit tans better than a hot one. YES, I know you cant prove that to a customer.
