Since I am a new salon owner and I have not been able to attend a convention, if I do get to attend Orlando is there a certain day or number of days I should attend? Can you get by in two days or what? Some veterens please enlighten me with some highlights. Is there something different everyday?

Different classes each day...check out www.itaworldexpo.com for class schedule. Show floor is open 3 days. I usually only do show floor anymore. Classes are pretty much the same year after year but still have some different stuff due to different presenters. Any newer person should go to the classes. Generally, though since you are here you will probably find out that you already know much more than you think. Go for whatever amount of time you can..if only for a day then definitely only do the show floor and meet some of us. You will learn as much if not more.I hope I can actually get to meet some more of you this year!

Ok, we will be going Thurs-Mon. Missed getting rooms at Gaylord by a few days. They are sold out tonight. I'm trying for something real close to Gaylord. Misfit I am looking at the Holiday Inn West Gate also. Can't wait to meet you guys.

Pam (or anyone else who might know) should a newbie go to some of the classes or just the show floor. Are the classes really worth it?

From reading the description of the classes they seem VERY worth it. This will be our first year and we will be attending a majority of the classes.

I've gone to a couple "lotion seminars" and it's pretty much the same stuff you read in the magazines. I just wondered if the classes offered were going to be similar to that. The descriptions seem good but I just wondered from people who have been there if they really were worth it.

HELLO EVERYONE! As you can see this is my first post! I have been reading on the forum for a few weeks and I have learned allot from yall(had to put the YALL in there since im from Texas) so thanks. Basically I wanted to let everyone know that I have decided to join some of you in Orlando and will be all alone..=( I am not sure where I will be staying but I wouldnt mind some company so if you dont mind me tagging along for any events or nightlife/drinks that would be great. Just wanted to put my name out there in case you guys are all getting together. It looks like I will be in town Wed night-Saturday night.Thanks again and take it easy.
