I drove by a salon this morning with election signs all over it. Even tho one has his own opinions about who should be elected
I do not think its wise to involve your salon into the battle. People with opposite veiws may very well stop spending money with you. Opinions? Bob |

These days, everything the government does causes US to lose business. Just talking about the retards haming it up with FAKE TANS and fake politics.
I hope everyone FINALLY SEES how BAD spray tanning looks OK? This is a man that probably had a real tan to begin with and wanted to spice it up with a blast in the booth. Actually booth is too ghetto. Most likely airbrush. |

I have a dillema regarding this...my Mother In Law (whom I can barely stand) is in politics here locally in our county government, and is up for re-election...I did agree to put her nail files out on my counter...but now my husband is pushing me to put her signs on my door or somewhere...I really dont want to...but how do you get out of a family situation like this? UGH!

Tell them to kiss your beefy *** cheeks. You are NOT gunna mix politics with business unless they plan on supporting you financially and you've already done more than enough with the nail files. (what the F?)

yeah thats my feeling, but I've been known to be a little too Sassy with her in the past, and trying to lighten it a little..lol..don't think that approach with be good for my marriage, however, I would love to say it! I just feel like I'm too new here in my salon to really make a stand on my political preferences...and although some people here would know shes a relative (last name) I don't want to chance the ones that don't and aren't in that political party.

Why our votes don't even matter. (no propaganda just a lession in american politics that most of us probably never knew)
"How The Electoral college works: The Electoral College is a controversial mechanism of presidential elections that was created by the framers of the U.S. Constitution as a compromise for the presidential election process. At the time, some politicians believed a purely popular election was too reckless, while others objected to giving Congress the power to select the president. The compromise was to set up an Electoral College system that allowed voters to vote for electors, who would then cast their votes for candidates, a system described in Article II, section 1 of the Constitution. Each state has a number of electors equal to the number of its U.S. senators (2 in each state) plus the number of its U.S. representatives, which varies according to the state's population. Currently, the Electoral College includes 538 electors, 535 for the total number of congressional members, and three who represent Washington, D.C., as allowed by the 23rd Amendment. On the Monday following the second Wednesday in December, the electors of each state meet in their respective state capitals to officially cast their votes for president and vice president. These votes are then sealed and sent to the president of the Senate, who on Jan. 6 opens and reads the votes in the presence of both houses of Congress. The winner is sworn into office at noon Jan. 20. {Here's the FUNNY PART} Most of the time, electors cast their votes for the candidate who has received the most votes in that particular state. However, there have been times when electors have voted contrary to the people's decision, which is entirely legal." To read the rest: (http://people.howstuffworks.com/electoral-college.htm) |
