A secret! SHHHH! OK, Here is how I purchased some nice costume jewelry Sterling Silver(925-Italy), Givenchy, Charter Club, Napier, Charlee, Ralph Lauren, Catherine Stein, Nine West, Tommy, Robert Rose, etc. Its a mix, its in lots, you'll get a list, so ask for the high end jewelry. There will be damaged merchandise, so account for 50%, but usually its not that high, just plan for that as far a your actual cost per piece. Get a pair of jewelry pliers. *My story* I bought 1600 piece's 3 lots, I planned for 50 damaged. I paid $1.37 per piece, so with a plan of 50 damaged I paid $2.74 per piece. It took 3-4 weeks and yes I had to pay up front with no clue what I was going to get other than expect a lot of silver. As you probably already know, Neimans, Sax, Bloomingdale's will not go through the trouble to polish silver, replace a battery in a watch, and pay their employees to match up errings that appear to be scattered everywhere, Or really mess with any jewelry that has a messed up box/card. There is a company called federated and there is a few of them out ther. You notice all the jewelry on sale on e/bay, flea markets, specialty stores. They purchase through a company called the close out store. Thtas what I did and I got all the brand names and piece's that had nothing wrong with them considered "overstock", "return", "damaged". I made back my $2195.00 in 4months and everything else has been pure profit. I sold some for the price it was marked at the from the department store and some I sold for 50% off and some for 75% off and some at my friends garage sale for $5.00 each to move some of the quanity of earring I have. I still have over 400 piece's. I have my own 12 drawer stand up Jewelry box full of my gotta have its (I am a girl, we have to keep some for ourselves).
The Close Out Club also sales Purse's, cloth's, furniture, Decor. Go to www.thecloseoutclub.com. Have them send you lists, you can specialize in Victoria Secrets, Tommy Hilfiger, or as I listed above. Remember you get a list. I am always getting compliments on my great taste in Jewelry, but Really I didn't pick it out, I was a bit nervous, but even if I sold every piece at $3.00 a piece I am still making a profit. I do not work for them, I just thought I would share. I'll take some pictures and put them on my pics. Take Care Tricia |
