Rep Power: 5 Extreme John will become famous soon enough
Well I have had my Salon Touch.net software in my two salons (the web based version so I can link both salons), and being honest, it's a nightmare, I was paying the monthly fee to use their servers but decided today to call and buy the program outright so I could put it on my own servers.

It's been almost 2 months of constant outages and (running in safe mode), that I cant take another minute of it. My sales rep asked me today why I decided to get away from having them host it... Very nice qustion but when I offered him the same info last week in a heated (John very peeed mode) he didnt really care to hear it, than had a customer service rep call me to try and sooth me, "Only a few more weeks".. Well my ***, Im over it, I would have gone with something else but I dont feel like re-training all my employee's on new software. So my hosting company can handle it now (Ive used them for years and they are the best).

That's why I like the fact that my other company supports the hardware/software that my salon uses...of course, that means that I have no one to blame but myself is something goes wrong...

How is having your own servers working for you? I'm looking at going to .net also. I already have suntouch but I may open a second location.
