River_Brat,
You started a thread, TOPIC: So i jumped on the band wagon of Twilight Teeth....Hollywood Whites is not Twilight Teeth. HOLLYWOOD WHITES is a paid advertiser on this board. Helping to support a forum that you get to post on and participate on free of charge because of paid supporters like us. Let us make this clear. WE WILL PAY TO ADVERTISE ON TANTALK REGARDLESS IF WE EVER MAKE ANOTHER SALE ON THIS BOARD JUST FOR THE PURE FACT THAT WE SUPPORT TANTALK AND WANT TO KEEP TANTALK ALIVE. Back to your post. Twilight Teeth is a company that spams their product here and as of this posting Twilight Teeth the product you have a problem with hasn’t even responded to your concerns about their product. If you have a problem with your beds do you reach out to another bed manufacture for answers to your concerns? If you have a problem with Cal Tan do you contact Designer Skin? And why River_Brat why if you have a problem with a product that you got a FREE sample of from your distributor why wouldn’t you contact them in regards to your concerns? Your acting like you paid for this sample you got and you have something invested in it. You got a free sample you decided you didn’t like it so it’s obvious your not going to carry it. Shouldn’t this be the end of the story? If you want answers to your questions about Twilight Teeth why don’t you direct them towards them? Better yet why don’t you just ask your distributor? The one you got your FREE sample from. The one that represents you and Twilight Teeth and should be able to answer the questions you are so concerned about. If you are looking to take your frustrations out on a product that you don’t like, please keep it professional and take it out on the manufacture and the distributor that provided you with the FREE sample. As far as the white spots on you teeth because of your braces, you might want to take that up with you dentist. Sounds like you need a good cleaning that should be covered by your dentist after the removal of braces. If you still have white spots from your braces then your dentist hasn’t done their job. |

Well Hollywood, first of all I tried to obtain your product. I contacted 4 major distributors that I go through and they only sell Twighlight Teeth. I contacted one of your distributors in Florida, to end up getting stalked with phone calls everyday just like wonderful succa tans.
If you would have addressed the issues at hand in your first post and actually put some education with facts I think people would have a greater respect for you and your product. The questions at hand are still not answered. And yes I tried twighlight teeth, yet your product is geared along the same premise and the same market. That was your time to inform us of the amount of research that has gone on in developing your product and perhaps what your product could offer differently then from twighlight teeth. I can honestly see how well you believe in your product. The sanitation question is still out there to be answered. Obviously you or anyone who developed this product has never worked in a tanning salon to be able to say "just give them a cup with lid and let them spit in that". Washing a clients hands still do not provide sanitation to the salon employees and the clients afterwards. The amount of UV exposure to be safe? No scientific study to actually educate us all on this? You made a statement now back that up with testing. Safe to swallow? Please again educate us on the study perhaps it is only safe in a specific amount. I believe you are selling to the same market and are in competition with twighlight teeth. With your product it still poses the same questions as with twighlight teeth, does it not? Your product just because it says Hollywood Whites, does not change the sanitation question at hand and the actual safety of the product. You are here to educate us all, but instead you missed that opportunity and chose to bash rather than educate. Salon employees and owners read these posts and I am sure you did not score a great deal of points with people perhaps looking at this thread who may show interest in selling your product within their salon. I posted this originally because I was quite interested in YOUR product to sell within my salon. Yes I did try twighlight teeth, but your product is similar which still again the same questions remain unanswered. Oh and with my teeth, actually I receive quite a bit of compliments on how great they look. My dentist he is great, went with the trays they mold to your teeth so you may sleep with them on. Thanks for the concern. However I was testing these products to be able to sell to my clients and provide an additional service for them which in turn would create more money in your pocket, and more clientelle who use your product. |

River_Brat,
We want to Thank You for this opportunity to promote our product here on TanTalk and address your questions once again. 1) The sanitation question: The sanitation issue was answered before in this thread but we will address it again. If for whatever reason you are worried about germs. Before you go into the tanning room go into the restroom wash your hands then apply the gel after you wash your hands. Just to clarify. Go to the restroom, if in fact you are worried about germs, wash your hands then after washing your hands or leaving the restroom ie: touching anything apply the gel to your teeth. Just like tanning lotions you can apply the gel 5 to 10 minutes before you tan and the active ingredient will still work. Also like we stated before you can use the applicator tip to apply the gel to your teeth and spread it with your tongue. Your tongue can reach all your teeth and the gel can be spread in an appropriate way to achieve awesome results. 2) Washing a client’s hands still does not provide sanitation to the salon employees and the clients afterwards. Sweat just like saliva contains germs. What you are implying River_Brat is that everybody that works in your salon and all of your customers wash their hands before they get into their room and after the exit your rooms which would be impossible unless you have sinks in all your rooms. Germs are everywhere including your salon. You and your employees come in contact with millions of germs and unsanitary conditions every day. So please River_Brat educate us. How do we create a germ free 100% sanitary environment like your salon? We look forward to addressing your other concerns but for now will ride this thread with answering your questions one at a time. Keeping threads like this alive only contribute to our sales. Thank you for all your support. No press is bad press especially when you can back it up with facts. |

there is still questions at hand still not answered. The safety of the product, uv exposure to the gums, the safety of the product when ingested. And yes I do protect my employees, when cleaning rooms they wear disposable gloves to clean the beds. With all the diseases these days you can never be too careful. My employees have also undergone germ control and prevention of the spread of germs and disease classes within my salon. I believe as an owner I should educate my employees on what they could be coming in contact with. Some people call me paranoid, but after working in many hospitals and the education that I have received, I want them to be aware of what is out there, not only in my place of business but in other business they may come in contact with. And also so they have a full and working knowledge of cleaning protocol within the salon so they may in turn educate our clients.
And you know Hollywood, I am asking valid questions in which you have yet to offer this site. Questions which would answer many others concerns on here, not just my own. Like I have stated once before, I am interested in YOUR product, which is again why I am still asking the same questions. What research has your company undergone with the dental and safety aspect. What amount is safe to be sallowed, amount of uv exposure to the gums, and where does your research come from. I am still at odds with the sanitation issue but with the same answers each time that is obviously a lost cause. And again, I like many other salon owners have considered and are considering your product, yet you still avoid answering any question with some facts behind it. And as for the bad press....tell me how many people have responded in a positive manner in regards to any of these products? Maybe some education for the salon owners will help for more of a positive response. |
