regardless, tingle or not. The client touches so many other things that are harmful. The client gets out of their car and touches the handle to your door to enter the salon. Client comes up probably touches the desk or counter. Client enters the tanning room and touches the handle to the door to close it. Client may come in contact with a chair, hangers, or anything else that you may offer. Clients then gets nakes puts lotion on, then puts teeth whiteners in mouth. Smears the stuff around their mouth along with all the germs they have came in contact with up until this point. Now touches the timer on the wall to activate bed, crawles in bed and relaxes. Begins to drool takes fingers to whipe and readjust mouth piece which I did quite a few times today (it kept slipping out even with the center bite) now client touch acrylic, adjusts the beds settings, session is over, client opens bed, gets out spits drool and takes mouth piece out, so now this is just as bad as sneezing and shaking somebody's hand right afterwards. The client now touches the hangers, chairs, radio, perhaps the deoderant you keep in there, the door handle to exit, possibly your desk once again and the door on the way out of your salon.

Quite honestly I never gave the sanitary issue any thought until trying it today. I was really considering offering them and was price checking them out. However I just had these thoughts going through my head the entire time.

I would really like somebody to speak up here and explain the issues at hand. I too have heard great things about the product and some bad things. But after what I experienced today I do not believe I would be able to believe in the product enough to sell it.

I sell Hollywood whites and a matter of fact sold out of my first batch of ten and just now got another dozen in. I tried them myself and didn't find it that bad. I did drool and used my towel, but that was my own towel and drool. I don't think it is that bad and this is just my own opinion. I give my customers an extra towel and tell them to get in the bed and put this on last. I will give them a q-tip if they want one or tell them that I will snip the end of the capsule or they can borrow my scissors to take with them. Then they can squeeze it out on their teeth. No one has really complained about it. I don't see a problem yet, but will deal with it when it comes up. They could be spitting all over anyway and you wouldn't know it. I don't know the answer, but I am open for suggestions on what others do.

Wasn't talking to you fool. was talking to that other fool who if she had been on this site during the busy season would have read my cries for concern. Now they are gunna be PMd about it. THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE IF YOU ARE ALLOWING THEM TO ADVERTISE ON THIS SITE.

Let me guess. No one in charge here made it past 8th grade. I'm talking ZERO professionalism WHEN IT MATTERS. I may big mouth like a maniac but it's fuled by the STUPIDITY of people that are supposedly professionals at what they do.

good morning.

must be able to show proof of what their saying. False or misleading ads are just that wether on here or in newsprint.

I say let the dental offices be the professional teeth whiteners and let us be tanning and skin care professionals. We have enough to upsell to make plenty of $ with lotions and the like. Just my opinion.

if these products are such a money maker and have had such great results why is it that we do not have more responses in this topic? Nobody can answer these questions. Why is it we have yet to have any of the sponsors speak in regards to their product?

I try to be normal when it comes to these things but if you go WAY back to my original concern you'll see that Dorsey COMPLETELY blew me off like I was some kinda ***. This was back in May. It's September. The questions have NOT been answered and now they are paid advertisiers AND can now go ANYWHERE due to the Salon Owners Forum being held open for the vampires.
