We have used them for 11 years. We have to go back to them every so often when a client says " I should have more sessions than that"

Hmmmmm? Can you tell me why they are required by some states? I have never used them and can't remember being in a salon that does. Seems like a lot of needless paperwork if you are not regulated to do so.

Wait, you talking about actually signing in EVERYTIME? The cards are enough over here. Just stack them in the order people arrive.

Well as State Board says "Need them in case of a lawsuit" When they sign in they answer yes or no to the ques. on the forms. Now if they come back to us saying they didn't know about yaddi yaddi, then you pull the sheet and say "oh yes you did".....You signed in and answered the ques. State of Ohio is really strick with them to.
Well my inspector is......

Hmmmmmm, again? I have all of that stuff stated on the initial client release/waiver. Again, if you are reg'd to do it then do it. I my own case, I don't see a need for it.

Yeah. How many times to have to answer the same question. "yes i understand - yes i understand - yes i understand - yes i understand - yes i understand - yes i understand - yes i understand". "wait i dont understand - what I have been signing - i didnt read it". State regs - we dont have this either - i would hate it.

Aside from sign in sheets - Illinois requires tanners to sign an initial visit statement once a year.

No sign in required, paperless operation after initial registration card.

Sign-in logs are being used by some to determine conversion ratios from special offer visit to purchase. But there's a better way to do it than sign-in logs.

.....good question, well we have them sign the member card, then we print out a release form, but if someone came in and said that they hadn't been in that day then we have proof, providing that they remember to sign in. Other than that I don't know why we use them.
