I have been searching through the "SEARCH" on this website and I really didn't find anything up to date on sanitizers. I have really been curious since I have opened on what sanitizer to use. I currently use lucasol and I also have the acrylicare. I haven't really had any trouble. I have had a few cusomters that complain of itching, but they use a hot lotion. So I don't know if they may be having a reaction to my sanitizers or what. I told one this morning to tan without her lotion and let's see if she itches after that. She only itches on her calves and that is what makes me feel like it is something with the bed or sanitizer. But if it was either of them why doesn't she itch all over? It's confusing. I always think something may be wrong with my beds. Any suggestions or advice on cleaners. Also, do they make a sanitizer that doesn't require diluting?

Most lotions with a hot or tingle action do cause you to itch, S.H.O. has an anti-itch factor however. If her calves are on the bed, don't you think that she sweats in the location and that could cause her calves to itch, I know if I am in a hotter bed and my calves are touching they sweat a little and I itch...but I use the lucasol at my current salon. At my last one they used the AG cleaner. No one has complained thus far, although, at our second salon they do have a few people who have complained and they just asked to have their beds wiped off with a dry towel and they seem to be okay....maybe start with the towel thing and see if that helps.

Lucasol is the best you can buy. You may want to do a double clean behind any client that may have used tingle or hot action lotion. Or have the client wipe down the bed with water before getting in the bed, some clients can be sensitive to the cleaner. Make sure you are deluting the solution correctly also.

TE - ditto - good advice. You are going to find a few people every year that have some kind of a reaction to the cleaner. We use lucasol and cal care. we tell them to take an extra towel and wet it and clean the bed agian.
