Any ideas on how to get your employees to understand why upgrades cost extra? Also, any ideas on how to promote the upgrade. My new salon has a very nice HP bed and a stand up with VH-r bulbs, but the employees there will not try to understand/sell these beds. I used the stand up for the first time and saw amazing results. (New manager at a New salon.) Thanks for any ideas.

I have three bed cleaners, I am thinking that while my girls on the computer are busy, the bed cleaners can give tours and tell each new customer the benefits of the upgrades and what the difference between the beds are. Think this is a good idea?

A proper sales presentation, with visual aids, will include upgrading as the major focus of the pitch. Also remember: free or low-cost trial doesn't stop at level 1 tanning - it also must be used for upgrades. If you don't get trial in the upgrade beds, you've got nada.

better to teach your bed cleaners how to work the computer, and have the sales staff conduct all tours. they are the most knowledgable staff in the salon. but whatever floats your boat. |
