Rep Power: 5 chester is on a distinguished road
You better do a business plan because you might change your mind. My employees see how much money I bring in during the 3 busiest months of the year and think that I am making a killing. But if they saw that I equally lost money during the slow season, they would rethink things. I have to tan at least 55 people per day just to break even with employees working at my salon. If I run the salon, I have to tan at least 30 people per day to break even. I'm tanning 35 people per day during the slow season. I do not run the salon because I have young children at home. So as you can see, I am losing $$$$$. 4 months of the year, I tan 80 - 120 people per day. So, then I am making money. But 4 months at making money and 8 months at losing money doesn't always equal out. By the way, my business is paid for. If I was making monthly payments on my business, I would have to tan a lot more people to break even. I have 10 years of experience and I wouldn't even think of opening a salon in my area.
