I have been to both Nashville and Las Vegas and personnaly I like the Vegas show better. Come on it is in VEGAS baby first of all but just as soakin stated, there is less people. I found I was able to talk to the vendors longer and got all my questions answered. Bring a HUGE suit case with all the goodies you will get.

We have found the Vegas show better for many reasons over the past two years, including the ones already stated. We get to spend more time with clients and prospects because there are more serious salon owners attending than in Nashville. That's a little wierd when you think about. Vegas more serious than Nashville? It's true.

Stop by and find out how to improve your marketing at the Grip booth CC1.

What a marketing conundrum: more serious shoppers in Vegas than in Nashville. Doesn't bode well for Orlando vs Vegas.

My guess is that Vegas will be better than Orlando for the same reasons, but hope that's not the case.

The reason we are exbiting in Vegas is that it has a history of being our best results of all the trade shows. The fun and excitement of Vegas means only people serious about listening and learning spend time on the trade show floor.

I have to admit, I am concerned about the Orlando show and how many will be at the trade show for a few hours and the theme parks for a few days.

That could be a positive like Vegas with only people serious about listening and learning spend time on the trade show floor.

We will have to see.

We have decided not to go to Vegas for a few reasons this year.
#1. Find all the trade show floors are full of vultures with suitcases ripping off suppliers. (Although suppliers (some of them) seem to continually rip us off.

#2. As soon as they find out one is "Canadian" they loose interest in you (Hey our $ is getting better)

#3. Celine Dion is Canadian and I won't pay the bucks she is asking for.

#4. Hate it when customs opens all my suitcases and all the batteries fall out. (Haha..the rest is in hubby's suitcase)

All in all, have a good time, the big hotels are just too, too big, cant see wasteing my time for 2 hours trying to find the pool. Oh yeah...bring your I.D. EVERYWHERE. Even us old bags (40 plus) were refused admission into J.A.'s private party cause we left it in the room, which was a good 3hrs by traffic, 1 by foot away.
