omg trying to steal our clients.

OMG, During the past 3 months, we have had 4 new tanning salons open up within 10 miles, just all in different direction. We are in the middle. We are a high clas, very consevative salon. Yesterday, we had one of our new competetors come to OUR parking lot and put Unlimted tanning to 2005 for $99 flyers on our cars and our clients car. They are a cheap low end salon. Are they allowed to do this? I am so mad, its ugly, and cheap advertising! Any suggestions?

I dont blame you, that is pretty low for them to stoop, give it time with that kind of thinking they will be out of business.

Fight fire w/fire.....I called another Tanning Salon
to see if see was interested in selling ...she ended up calling me a crack head...so I put our Salon on the shopping carts next to her Salon....she has lost 40% of her buisness and our clientes love us much better.....

That is low. A new salon openned up where Im at and they called our store about the prices and then put thier's lower but they only have 3 beds

How do you know how much business she has lost?

People like to try new salons that are closer to them. Our salon has been in business for 20 years. Last four years sales have increased every year. Last year was the best year the salon had ever had. Two other salons have gone out of business in the last year. One new has opened up. We are off by about 80 people a day for this month. THe new salon is not as good as ours - I have been told by clients. WE are starting to get in our regular spring people. They are already tan. I look for a busier May. People like to try new places we cant help it.

The busiest resturant in town is usually the newest one.

Buy them out, you have to monopolize, if you buy them out other tanning centers will see how much more powerful you are compared to them and wont dare mess with you

Im in my second year of business have 6 units, how many people should i have a day??? and does anyone know of who offers the best prices for the 9k90 or if there are better bulbs than that??? thanks any advice anyone could give me would be great also!
