We have some older sunquest beds from when we bought the salon maybe 10 yrs. old. I found them to be very reliable and well built but bad design. No pull out ballast trays~ slide in acyrilics. We are replacing them with other beds. I don't know if they still make beds anymore.

You do the research...you make the choice based on what you can afford. Lots of good info on this site about beds. Just because someone does not like a type of bed does'nt mean they're bad beds. We would all like to have top of the line beds but most can't afford that.
Look for a bed that's easy to clean and service and then keep them spotless!

I agree with TI Tan. Do your research and find what is best for you. We have (had) a Sunquest Super Q 28F Man. in 1995. This bed was in a miliatry gym that was taken over by the city when the base closed. We have no records of maintance, use anything. It has finally bit the dust with some type wiring issue. The company finally sent me some information, wiring schematic etc on it, but we have been unable to get it fixed.
