You know what really ticks me off is when a client purchases say 3 mystic tan sessions and they bring a friend in and they want them to use one of their sessions. GRRRRR. It happens quite frequently. Dont they read my policies, all sales final, no sharing packages, blah blah. I have 2 packages that clients can split either on the mystic and the body wrap, however I raised the volume discount so in reality they only save $5.00 if they would have purchased it by themselves. And each client receives their specific amount of sessions that cannot be transferred. It just cracks me up, you dont go to ballys and tell them hey this friend here is going to use week 1 i will use week 2 and then so and so will be using the rest of my month. So why do people think this can be done in a tanning salon.

We allow sharing on min packages only. It usually gets used up fairly quickly and needs to be renewed so it works pretty good especially for family. We use SunTouchPlus which keeps track of each individual history.

If someone needs 200mins of tanning but buys 400mins and "sells" 200 to a friend thay are leveraging the quantity discount you provided them to make money themselves. There is only 2 ways to stop this. 1. Don't provide the discount 2. Don't allow sharing. The discount is there for a good marketing reason to get the customer to make a longer term commitment to your salon - this does not work if the customer gets into the business of selling their minutes.
