We have an annual christmas party where our managers get a cash bonus and our staff will be rewarded with a nice gift from Bath and Body, massages, gifts that they normally would not get for themselves and hopefully stress relieving gifts. We also hand out our service pins and rewards during this party as well. It is a great deal of fun. We reward our staff throughout the year as well with contest in which we reward with TV's, DVD players, stereos, digital camcorders, cameras, etc. As far as a gift exchange, we always have our staff bring a new, unopened toy to donate to toys for tots. Everyone that brings a gift will receive a ticket. At the end of the christmas party we draw tickets and the winner gets a nice gift.

Ewwh ~~~ $10.00 is a bit minial these are the people who make you money. You never know then you give them ten the other fourty dollars maybe coming out of your register some how. However, I can understand if the business is slow and you are unable to afford elaborate bonuses. The economy is at an all time low but no matter how bad things maybe I find away. I have to appreciate the people who have come to fill in last minute, stayed late and come to everyone of the monthly cleaning parties for free. One dinner and a present is worth the other 364 days of the year when we are working non-stop from the minute we open and well after closing time. I would re-think a $10.00 bonus

Well, my only real experience is what I have seen first hand. "Round Christmas time, Pete Morenings (aka-God I wish I were Trevor) would invite the employees (even the ones with a black hole from the previous month) out to his house (that had a mortgage way beyond his ability to pay). The party would always start out real slowwww...and then just kinda die out all together. See, half the employees woildn't even show up (95% of 'em detested his fat ***)...the other half that did show up...Well..they were treated to a big 'ol spread of pretzels, freezer burned food from a box ( you know what I mean, that crap from Sam's club like; pinwheel sandwichs made up of who knows what and Sam's pre-made vegtable trays. YUM (Gettin' hungry ?) WAIT Don't answer yet! Imagine this.....the show stopper. Shrimp cocktail...That's right. You know those week old shrimp from Sam's club the size of an atom. Spare no expense. Ah...Now the fun really starts. Ever see your boss drink 51 Coors Lights in 60 minutes? I have. About this time Pete would start saying stupid crap that was incoherent...With employees in one room...Morenings family in the other....people would start sneakin' out to go anywhere else. Sound like fun? I would suggest you stay away from this formula.

I think this year, I'll let them grab any lotion they want off the shelf and of course, take them out for for dinner or perhaps another party at my home. Or maybe, (UV Doctor talking) I'll just let them have the whole darn salon and go home and crack open a few dozen Coors Light while I fill out my bankruptcy forms with the help of my good friend Joe!

are you just bitter uvdoctor..? I heard this year he may spring for a whole pizza! ..and is "upgrading" some 'lucky' employee to take a "soak" while his greasy neighbors and successful local business people that he wishes he was, oogles at the girls he underpays, but hey, its a "family business" and its only cheating if you get caught...(******!) I know that was a runon sentence, but I will just hide behind my bankruptcy, howard says I am in the clear. Actually, I wouldn't doubt if there is a sexual harassment suit brewing...just a feeling. (wink)

Whatever I do for my employees is much better than you do for yours. Considering the fact that you are probably an umemployed government funded deadbeat. Go bankrupt, get it over with, hopefully you won't be able to afford internet access. Whoops! The feds will probably fund that for you too! Give it up guy/s, get a life, one away from us. Get a job and be productive, I dare you to convince any of us that you are anything but an unemployed, government funded, internet junkie that has been banned from porno sites you've abused. When it comes to tanning moderation is the key, when it come to TanTalk we need a Moderator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hint! Hint!
