Attention Distributors...A salary question for you........

What is the average fair salary for a sales manager? What about your lead sales person? Also what commision percentage do you offer your sales staff/sales manager?

I would prefer not to disclose that information. I enjoy expressing my true opinion and I feel like on this site if someone did not like my opinion it may have some negative effect on the buisness. I hope that is just a silly worry of mine!

I guess maybe there are not many distributors or distributor employed individuals around to answer the question I posted. I just would love to know the market rate so to speak. It is hard when you do not know what other people in the industry are being paid for your same job description. I want to make sure I am truly being paid what I am worth!! I would be happy if someone would even share what comission percentage they receive at the distributor level. Thanks to anyone who replys!!!!!!!!

Patty, Just what do you think your worth? Are you comm. and hourly or just salary ?

In my company we pay on a strictly commission base. The % depend on the mark up we take because we pay off of retail not profit.
