I agree Angie. We have to fight WalMart lotions enough. Use something you can sell. If we lower our standards to WalMart, they will too. If we have it, they think it must be good enough so why should they spend more $$ with us.

I was not lowering my standards (remember I hate walmart), I just saw them for .94 and thought WOW, I could buy these to see how they go over with customers, obviously I would not divert my customers to walmart and say purchase your lotions/bath products/etc, I do not carry body sprays from any lotion manufacturer so I was just seeing how well it went over...

Gotcha! If they go well then I would check into sprays from your distributor. I understand about getting something thinking that the customers would love them and have it fall flat and you stuck with the bill. How are they liking them so far?
Pam
PS I HATE WalMart too. My Walmart trips are very early in morning or late at night and never at the first of the month.

I dont allow the walmart tanning lotions in my salon. IF it is not a lotion I have seen in a distributor catalog or know that it is sold in a salon it does not make it in the room. MOst are thrown out at the counter or the clients take it to their car. IF it says for indoor or outdoor use, we dont allow that either. We have a sign posted on the door and counter. I had problems getting some of that crap off a bed last year and put a stop to the use then and there. MOst dont have a problem with it, those who do tan someplace else.

Pam...the customers are really noticing them, many of them comment on them to me when they leave.."I see you added body sprays, nice touch" so I think it is something that I would consider keeping in the rooms for the long haul. I just checked my distributor catalogs to see what they offered, I saw some Body Invest sprays and one by sun garden. I think if I remember correctly that when I first opened I bought tons fo the Body invest Spa products and they did not go over very well, but I could purchase the sprays for the rooms and keep some on hand if customers would like to purchase...

The body sprays and the gel are the only products of Body Invest I carry. The people use it after tanning and they like the smell and buy a combo on the way out. Good investment.

How does the new Tropical Sorbet smell, what exactly does it smell like?
I have smelled the Bahama Breeze and the Cool Mint Sorbet...
Roughly how many customers purchase these items?
