Hi!
I just bought a new 220 Volt Sunvision 24S and plan on installing it in my home (I got the commercial version as I hope to open a salon in the future and will have a bed ready to go.). I'm not sure what kind of wiring I need - I plan on calling an electrician in but I"m not sure exactly what to tell him I need done! Can anybody kind of break down the wiring for me? Thanks!! |

The electrician would be able to answer that as he would be on your site and see if you have the correct power supply coming into your home. He will tell you what you need to do. Good luck.

Patsy Woman:
If it has a four lead it is a three phase circuit (two hots, a common and a ground). If there are three leads it is considered a single phase. There should be a suggested operating voltage that the manufacture can advise on. If I can be of assistance, please contact me. The Sunvision bed you have runs on a 20 amp 2 pole single phase circuit, no neutral. Check your voltage. In residential areas the voltage can exceed 245 volts. This will tear up ETS beds as the wiring and construction are not too rugged. You actually purchased a home unit. ETS beds don't hold up very well in commercial environments but are fine for the two to three times a week it will get used. If your voltage is higher than 230 you will need a buck booster to lower the voltage to prevent the parts from burning out. If you open a salon in the future consider other beds for real commercial use.
