I have actually been to a dermatologist for the white spots. They told me it was a reverse freckle, instead of the normal freckle that becomes darker, the reverse freckle loses pigment, and as with the sun & freckles comes out more when I am tanning. I asked my lotion vendor how you know the difference between the reverse freckle & a skin fungus. She knew nothing about the reverse freckle, but had been through training for skin fungus. She said that the skin fungus would be raised and have a rough or crusty surface to it. She also stressed that you must really scrub the surface with a wash cloth or a nail brush, and get the crusty layer off before applying the treatment. I just ordered a product for that. I will let you know how it works.
