In a recent article in Womans World (page 12 Oct. Issue) under the heading Break these Rules-and get healthier.. Denise Mann writes..
“No one’s denying that unprotected sun exposure can increase the risk of skin cancer..
But it doesn’t mean we should avoid the sun”
She goes on to quote Michael Roizen MD
“The fact is we can get significant health benefits from small amounts of unprotected sun exposure we can not get anywhere else.”..
Dr. Roizen talks about the benefits of Vitamin D as we all know as facts.., but he also says, a recent study by the Boston University found that unprotected sun exposure also activates the cell growth genes, preventing out of control cell division that can lead to cancer.., he says 10 minutes a day with-out sunscreen between the hours of 10 and 11:30 a.m when ultra-violet rays are the strongest!!!
You don’t have to bask, but you must get your rays..”

This is GRRRREAT news..
