Just to let everyone know, I received the response as well. I have called KIDS discover and left a message for Mrs. Sands, I have yet to be responded to.

She never replied to this (but I think she made the Weather Channel CANCEL the whole Rays Awareness forum !!!

Here's what I sent them as a start:

Please update your knowledge base on the subject of ultraviolet and health. The "depression" you refer to has little or no relationship to solar or artificial UV... it is primarily about full-spectrum visible light.

Recommending staying out of UV light is fast becomming outdated and the WRONG message. Avoiding sunburn (overdose or erythemal dose) remains the CORRECT message... but the positive benefits of UV can far outweigh the manageable risks.

Please read these two threads on the Weather Channel Ray's awareness board. Start at the end and work backwards to keep in context.
