We are trying a coupon on our local pizza delivery joint in conjunction with a door hanger. Never tried it has anyone else. They assured 50 coupons to come back or you get the next 6 months free. We will see.

we have, and it works very well if your salon is surrounded by apartments...we printed them and they put them on their box top and we were 50% of the ad.. if you are not surrounded by aprartments, do not expect much.

I'm surrounded by everything, apartments, million dollar homes down to trailer parks so maybe it will work well.

We drop off our tri-folds at Wedding stores, tux shops, photagraphy shops etc...offer free spray for the bride with bridal party, same for the groom...Super discount tans for our local Junior college, high school cheerleaders and flag gals etc...I haven't had to advertise yet...but I think I will have to as since the snowbirds flew north and the Hurricanes are flying in from the south...as we are 5 miles from the Beach in Florida...things have slowed up for the first time...so I will be calling our local little paper and putting in an add with a free tan + great new package for 1st timers...

We do Screen Patrols. We go to local events, such as golf tournaments, and provide free sunscreen to all the golfers. We have gift certificates for 50 free minutes inserted in all the loot bags for the participants, and usually sponsor a hole. It's a great day out, because we do the screen patrol ourselves, and meet lots of potential clients, and at the same time we are getting the message out that folks should protect themselves outside.... We look a lot more responsible, and those new clients trust us more, automatically!
