TANtalize, you gotta come off that 10% discount stuff this time of year. If you're SERIOUS about boosting business this time of year, you gotta get serious about the discount. Kick it up to 40-50% of regular price and see what happens. Hey, it beats no business!!
Remember, this is 'off season'. You gotta do something drastic to get um in the salon now.

Bronze Star, that sounds like a good approach. KISS keep it simple, stupid. Don't put too many options on the mailout. Good Job!!

cab, have you got at college in your town? Students are coming back to school now, get in the school news paper!! Generally this is a great way to make new contacts, and the price is very reasonable.

Okay, I remembered the name of the guy who told me about making his own postcards with a scanner and magic markers. He still has never posted here, but he and I have PM'd for a few days now. He has been in the biz for a while now and appears to know his stuff. I wish, however, that he would share some of that knowledge with us (hint hint).

As soon as I find out specifics as to how he does this I will let ya'll know. I really like the idea, I'm in a small town and do not have a local print shop. I'd have to drive 108 miles to get to the nearest city large enough to help me.
