I am retailing the Suddenly Sun for the end of summer and doing very well with it. It is flying off the shelf!!! However... I need to find good, quality, professional brushes to sell as an add-on. Does anyone have the name, number, e-mail or url of a good cosmetic distributor that I can purchase brushes from for retail purposes? I hate the high minimums I have found. I only want to start with a dozen or so... building from there.

Laurie, this is a great idea. I too retail the Suddenly Sun Powder. And as I always tell my clients I like the brush effect better. I should stock some brushes as well.
Maybe our friend Chris could help us out with a supplier. |

Hmmmm, I don't think we've ever discussed it before. California Tan makes it. It comes in a display of 24. I love it because most women who tan don't like to wear heavy makeup and this allows them to even out lighter areas and give a finished look. California Tan made a great facial bronzer in a light powder that matches most tanned skin tones. Get one from your distributor and try it yourself. That's what I did.
Once so many clients started asking what I used, I decided it was time to carry it. |

One other you'll want to check out is Nail-Co
Industry SOurce.. 1-800-362-6245 .. You have to be varified as a licensed facility to order.. Pg. 36 in the source book.. Excellent Dome Brush.. and the other brushes are very nice.. Good prices and made of sable.. This source has brush sets you can retail with no problem.. Check out Skin Care thread regarding finding the right brush.. Let me know which ones you picked.. PS. Caltans bronzers ROCK!!! They are by far the BEST Bronzers money can buy!!! I also carry the Suddenly Sun Bronzing powder. We also sell brushes and have a full cosmetic line with all types of brushes. I have found that you can almost sell it to everyone coming in the salon that is going to be in a wedding. I explain to them that.."do you notice how white everyones face is in the pictures"? Suddenly sun is the cure! They almost always buy it. Simple sell. Some of our brushes are $15! Being a guy that sounds high to me...is there a good brush out there that I can retail for under $10?
