What causes this stench?

Dear Uncle Don,

We all know about that scorched skin smell after tanning. What is this called, and what causes it? Layman's terms, if you can.

bacteria! plain and simple.

Clean people tanning without overheating and sweating don't have it never did never will!

Its your upper lip Chipp. We all have bacteria and we all sweat. At least it is not that fungus you get on your feet from stand up tanning beds.

Chipp is an idiot plain and simple (in his case though, he has taken idiocy to new levels never before seen on any tanning sites.) By even responding we lend a credence to his stupidity by acknowledging his comments.

What we should be doing is simply posting "Chipp, you're an idiot!!" and leave it at that. If enough of us do just that enough times Chipp may get the idea and just go away. Be prepared for the long haul though because it is obvious that CHIPP REALLY IS AN IDIOT so it may take a while for the message to sink into that peanut he uses as a brain.

Mori, I wasn't trying to do credit, I was trying to pee Chipp off the way he does me. We have a great stand up VHR Suncapsule. It does a great business, but not as good as the beds. I think it is an insult to idiots to compare Chippppp to one.

To answer your question, it's a chemical your body gives as a reaction to the UV Light. Everyone does it but some more than others. Some of the lotion manufacturers have a spray that neutralize this. Call your lotion distributor and ask them.
