Make sure you are continously training your employees on the products you sell, especially during slow season. Right now they have more time to talk to each client and therefore the more they know about each and every product the more they can tell & sell. You also have your "die hard" tanners during this time and those are the ones that will spend the most money, once they are aware of the features and benefits of add on products.

anyone who is still tanning in July is a die-hard tanner. ask them how they feel about their current lotion and results.... feel them out and see if they are willing to try something new--bronzer, tingle, cooling, whatever... Tanners who are so into their tans will always be wanting to try something new in hopes of furthering their color.
Heck, I sample (and then buy) almost anything the girls suggest to me. (except for Golden Bronzing Glaze. I really hated that stuff) |
