Anyone doing these? I don't necessarily want to do it at the salon... but would love to find out how to do them like the pros do. Is there a book or video somewhere?

State of Fla hair wrapping .. requires a license.
They must hold a specialty license.
Class requirements.. a 2 day 16 hour class that has been approved by the board.
Course also must include the 5 hour HIV/AIDS and other comminicable disease, also required the 5 hr instruction on sanitation/sterilization, 4 hrs on the disorders/diseases of the scalp 2 hrs of laws regarded to braiding hair only ( if the license is braiding specialty).

Check out your state to see what is required if you want to bring this service in.

Wow Chris.. I had no idea! Thanks for all the info. I had a hair wrap this summer and took it out early. Thank God I had it in a spot under my ear by my neck... there was A LOT of breakage!
