Make sure all of your employees are trained on all eye protection that is FDA approved. I have pictures of them out of magazines taped on a card at the counter for my employees to view. I don't think any salon has every single brand made, so your clients are bound to have some that your employees haven't seen often. Iowa requires that each client have their own, but even if your state lets or requires you to supply eye protection you can also make $$$$ and satisfy clients by selling it to those who desire to have there own.

I would just like to say that I received 2 of the eye pro mats pictured above. I display the front and back side by side right next to my eyewear. It does wonders!
Not only do people try to find the numbers in the colored areas which prompts a good selling/teaching technique-
But the pink eye picture.....ugh.
It's gross they see that first thing-and let me tell ya, their is no easier way for me to sell some eyewear....AND of course give some tanning knowledge.

Bottom line- Eye Pro Rocks!

I agree with Jaime. These counter mats are fabulous and do wonders for helping inform clients of the dangers of not wearing eye protection. They also help to sell disposable eyewear which is another great plus for salon owners like me.
