Can you smack clients? - Page 2

Yea, we have a ton of stay at home moms in our area, so when they come up, guess who they bring with them? I actually can't say anything bad about it though, we haven't had any bad kids. They normally read and we have markers so they can color, and normally the moms bring something for them to do with them and lay down the law before they go tan. But back to the subject, I want to smack some clients too! Especially the uneducated ones who love to talk about what they don't know, and the really snobby ones!

I love the ones who come in and start talking skin cancer crap to anyone around. Usually these are moms of young teens who HAVE to be here while their kid tans. I have won a few of these over with facts but there are a few 'lilly whites' I would like to smack. If they think it is so bad..why are they letting their kid come in??? Wonder if they stand in McDs lobby and talk loudly about how much fat the burgers and fries have? People who think they are the self appointed saviours of the world really irritate me!

I had this customer bring her 16 year old daughter to tan, with them was the baby of the 16 yr old. She bought a month unlimited in the level one bed. She came 2 times a week on the third week the mom started complaining the kid wasn't get a tan. We explained it as you want to build a base tan start coming in everyday. She needs to build up to 20 minutes. So one night she was bad mouthing our tanning salon right in front of us and a future customer. The future customer walked out. I chewed that ladys butt off and kicked her to the curb. I then apologized to the 16 year old.

I never ever recomend that a client tan every day,it should be evry other day at most...

When a newbie comes in every day that is when they can get the worst burn, they need to give their skin at least 48 the react to the UV light, once they get a base tan then a couple times a week is all they need.

We have a client who always thinks it is the lotion that prevents her from tanning. She always wants something different...everything she tries is crap. We have explained to her many times that you need to come in more than once every two weeks to tan. She also complains that she purchases monthly unlimited packages and only makes it in a few times. After a year of trying to convince her she would be better off purchasing a visit package...she finally did this past week. You just can't win with some of them
