"You were closed for the Holiday and I want free tans because of that", "What do you mean that lotion sample isn't free", "I paid for that tan visit since I bought a package who cares if I didn't show for my appointment", "No one explained that a monthly expires in a month", "Why can't I change my package or share it", "So and So salon is cheaper than you", "I shouldn't have to pay the upgrade charge to use a higher level bed"
Plus the employee thing about keeping the salon clean. That is never ending...even with the most dependable ones. |

The eomployees at my salon (all 3 of us) practically run the shop, so no problems there.
My main problem is customers who bring in their kids and expect me to watch them even though we have a sign stating that unsupervised children aren't allowed. |

Employees by far But the kid thing is a pain, I have a sign posted to, it's like they can't read. I had one lady ask me to watch her 2 month old, I don't think I will ever forget that one! I mean they don't even know me and will just leave thier kid with me.... never will get that.

Ive heard them all but what kills me the most is that we are the lowest priced salon (for new beds that is) we have a lady down the road who will only charge $2 but thats becuase her beds are 20 years old and they are all cracked and dirty. I cant believe people even tan there. The teenagers arent loyal at all they just want to pay barely anything to tan. My biggeste problem is those who want something for nothing. We always have FANTASTIC deals and yet that not good enough the want it for less. And we have a normal markup on lotion but they want us not to make any money at all so they ask is there any discount on this, and ofcourse clients that buy loyion on the internet or somewhere else yet tan here. YOu knwo I dont go into the grocery store or department store and expect that I'll get something for less then what it says, why do they?

I get a lot of what appears to be drunken crackhead tanners that want everything at discount aka free. Or say I'm short can I pay you the rest next time. I don't think my sign says "Loan Office". But go figure I live in a state were our new moto is Getting Lucky In Kentucky.
