We've thought about it yes, but we're not sure how our regular and loyal clients would handle the change and we're not sure that we are large enough yet to handle a walk in only salon. We only have four units currently. We have always thought that once we get to 8-10 units we would love to got to walk in only!!

what salons here do is if you are more then 5 min late you loose your session, the salon subtracks the session just like you used it, after all you did tie up and USE the time. When these careless people find they are costing themselves tans they arn't so careless! You are selling time not only tans, you should get fully paid for no shows. |

The talk and worry about over exposure in indoor tanning is over blown! This statement as a whole is misleading and very inaccurate. It is possible to get a UVA induced sunburn from the machines and in fact happens all too often with too many of the "professional" salons. The worry about indoor over-exposure is a very real problem and not "over-blown" at all! I'm sure I'm not telling you all anything that you don't already know.... but watching what you say and exactly how you say it should be focused on here. As I have read here recently: there are tanners here that are looking for technical information. It is our obligation to provide them with the truth! -Tommie- |

Chipp, when a newbie to TanTalk ( not necessarily a newbie to the tanning business)can see your Blather for what it is..WRONG! Does it become clearer to you the importance of posting true and accurate post .. (to the best of your knowledge) Everyone makes mistakes sometimes but CHIPP be serious... NEVER BURN.. 45 minutes!! Especially those who haven't seen a tanning bed in a year and want to go the max in a newly re-lamped unit............ There's a limit? I am up to 17 minutes in a bed and I have only been tanning 2 months now 3 times a week.. Good or no? I noticed a newly relamped unit recently and yow! it burned my back a lil but I checked afterwards and it wasn't red at all.. Just my comments.. -Andrea |
