so now you want a new package and a deal.. after tanning with me for XX months never purchasing a bottle from me.rarely upgrading.
How much of a deal do you think you are going to get.
I personally give my regulars..LOYAL customers free upgrades, and Special discounts.
When a new lotion comes in I offer them a free sample, lots of them use my facial tanning accelorater.. and never pay a dime. Some of them have permanent discounts in the PC under their names.
They buy lotions, after tans, you name it. They are loyal to me and my salon so I repay them for thier loyalty.
As for the online shoppers. Don't kid yourself we know who buys what. And I have a few of them most don't admit where they bought it. Thwey RARELY get a "special price" they don't bring a coupon in for.
Sooo keep that in mind next time..
I hope this doesn't offend anyone, I am not trying to be rude...just honest.

MJ, you didn't offend me at all... in fact, I think yours was the first civilized post about customers buying from other places that I've read in a looooooooooong time. And you make some very good points about customer loyalty, support, etc.

Like I said, I do buy lotion from my salon... but they seem to have phased out the CalTan which is what I like in favor of Swedish Beauty and Matahari. If I like something they give me a sample of, I'll buy it. If I hear great things about a lotion they don't carry, then I try to obtain it elsewhere.... I've been tanning at this place for YEARS and only for them would I pay $40 for stinky Dark Sexy Tan. hehehe

Have you asked your salon if they would special order a bottle of California Tan? If nothing else ask them to order a sample when they place their next order.

I personally hate Austrailian Gold (for many reasons - one being the diversion issue) but if one of my customers, especially a loyal customer, were to ask me to order them a bottle then I would do it in a heartbeat. This is, of course, with the understanding tha they intend to pay for it.
