Be prepared for the trends.........

In the fashion world, everything old is new again......it's a flashback to the 70's

The look for women is going to be very feminine, bohemian, romantic, whimsical, lady-like, gypsy-ish, peaseant-ish (like those old Stevie Nicks outfits)

White is the "new black"
- anything with ruffles or fringe
-mismatched suits - instead of wearing all one color, mix it up! Don't be afraid to wear white pants with any color suit jacket.
-the Rainbow look dates back to the 60's everyone has something in the back of their closets (or their mother's )- shoes, pocketbooks, jackets, shirts, belts....
- the gypsy look- big lace shirts paired with any white or colored full skirt, just add your favorite pair of boots.

Keep in mind we all wear clothes for three reasons: 1. Protection 2. Modesty (some more that others) 3. Expression

How low can those low-riders go? They're still in & lower than ever.
Time to accent the stomach - waist chains are a must have, also body gems tattoos- any simple accessory that makes a bold statement.

Makeup: purple is making a comeback -
rose-violet - new hues for spring
Alot of emphasis is being concentrated on the look of the lashes -long & full, less the "smoky" lid colors and to more of a cleaner, fresher look for the Business Day/Formal night
Glitter, colored eyeliners, & using daring colors of different shades of blue & green accent many of the faces in your salon today.

Help your customers get in style, feel better about themselves & in the mood for looking great, even when they're not tanning at your salon!

Belly Dotz...
I asked a few customers what they thought about them during the past few weeks. Now they are asking me when I will be getting them in.

I finally placed an order today.

High School girls want them to match their two piece prom dresses.

neon~Belly Dotz?Are they like the body gem tattoos?Or our they something different?I'm selling the trend gems & they love 'em.In the next week or two I want to get in toe rings,anklets,etc..Amy

I have searched the internet and asked the two dist. that I prefer, but hte only place that I've found the belly dotz are in the Heartland catalog. Call them at 800.554.8268 I don't have their new cat. but it is on page 116 of the 2001 edition.

The salon price is $3 but I'm sure I could find them cheaper if only I could find someone else who sells them.
