tangirl & Stacey, I have been doing this for a couple years. I never even gave the acrylics a thought, but I have never known of any problems with sitting on the edge. I sit in the middle of the bed & hang my legs over the edge - It does help with these spots. One thing to keep in mind...if I am using a bronzer, I don't do it because it can smear on the side of the bed. Another one I do for the half moons if the last couple minutes in the standup, I lean out the door! It's a good stretching exercise & also gets those spots. What we go through to keep a great tan!!!
