Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Heatwave, Don't get me wrong here, because I think your slogan is great, however, FTC regulations require that salons are not allowed to "promote" or "advertise" the healthy benefits of tanning. Using the words "safe" or "healthy" in promoting a tanning salon are on the no-no list. You might want to consider changing it, although I doubt they will ever say anything about it, but you can never be sure! |

If it read, "Tanning makes you feel...", then you are right. I have one that says, "(name of salon). Bringing the medicinal powers of the Sun indoors." No where, when used, does it imply tanning. My slogans are all trademarked to prevent copyright, and approved by ITA..always check, if not sure. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | When we do our tv commercial,I was thinking on the opening statement being, with the camera just on my face and no one knows what the ad is about yet saying "We love "white" people". Camera pulls back to reveal our tanning salon. "Because your the reason we're in business". Then go on from there. Clever or racist? |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Clever. But, it may come off as a bit racist to some. It does not have to imply fully, racism, for someone to want to cry 'foul'. A High School teacher in Pa, was fired from her job by the school board, because she refused to stop wearing a 1 inch crucifix around her neck. Sad and ridiculous that this country has to resort to siliness, not to offend a certain few. In this case, it was a Muslim student. True story. So, try using the word "pale" or "ghost". |

The key words are LOOK and FEEL healthier, not BE healthier. If the slogan read "Be Healthier", that would not be good. It is just the individuals opinion of how they may look or feel when tanned. |
