Just wondering if everyone has a washer and dryer on premise. Are you having to take them home and wash them, or do you have a service that does them?
I got a quote from a towel service the other day. They said they wanted 19 cents a towel to clean. I said yeah, right. Sorry, when I have a big chain of 50 tanning salons, then I will think about it, but for right now I think I will wash mine at home.
I don't have the room in my salon.

So what is everybody else doing?????

I have a stackable washer and dryer in my salon. Takes up very little space. I refuse to take towels home. When I lock the door, I want to be able to leave the job for a little while.

I don't have a washer and dryer in the salon yet so I take them home with or we call the local laundry mat and they pick them up wash and dry them and drop them off. They charge me $10.00 for 2 full baskets and they use their own laundry detergent.

Right now I take them home. Once the busy season starts up I will go to laundry mat where they have those GREAT BIG washers. Next location will have washer/dryer space.

We now have our own washer and dryer in our new location. Before we took them to a laundry mat..... what a pain!!! and if you don't stay with them someone will steel them. Durring busy season there are too many to take home . It really is worth it to have your own.

I have washer & dryer in the shop. I,too, want to be done when I go home. I have had to go to laundromat a few times when we were down and hated it. My last dryer only lasted 2 years. I have a new commercial one coming tomorrow. It wasn't that much more expensive

We have washers and dryers in all of our salons. In our largest salon there is no way we could wash them after work. We tan anywhere from 500 - 600 a day in peak. Would be alot of towels to wash at one time.
