I've posted signs telling about the postcard thing & people think it's a great idea. I've got a bride tanning that will be going to the Keys & another tanner that's going to Hawaii next week. Another is getting married on a cruise ship next month.

I'm also offering a free session or upgrade for anyone coming in costume on Halloweeen!

Well, I've received 6 postcards so far (2 naked men)! Now I just need to find a place for them. Maybe I'll put them on a wall next to the lobby. Any ideas on the best way to display them?

Jim does several things with his... most of them are protected by lamination. You could suspend some from the ceiling or get those clever picture holders they have at Target. They are adjustable and hold about a half dozen cards or pictures with arms. You find them in the lamp section for about $10. They have some gorgeous ones in the Christmas section too...

We too give a free tan to someone who sends us a postcard. We have photo albums that we place them in and just leave these albums on the front counter, automatically people just begin to turn pages...plus it keeps them neat and organized. Now what we do as special incentives for special occasions for a wedding we give the Bride and Groom a gift bag with SPF lotions and lipbalms, maybe a towel and the gift bag makes a great little beach bag for their honeymoon.....we also may also throw in a coupon for a certain percentage off on items in the salon (many brides use this to perhaps buy a swimsuit) However, in doing all of this, there is one downfall, we can't stop getting wedding invitations!! We are just way to nice to everyone here!!!
