Highlighted Hair

This may sound like a crazy question..but..what effect, if any, does tanning have on highlighted or colored hair.

It will lighten hair just like the real sun. If you color your hair darker, it will still be lightened in the tanning bed. There are UV block caps for the hair. I think I saw these in a distributer in TN'scatalog. Check on the internet or call around.

Yeah there is a product called Solar Cap...it is supposed to protect your hair from the uva and uvb rays to prevent it from drying out...it should be available at any distributors!

mine also seems to lighten up a bit when i tan.

tanning will fade colored hair.exp. reds. it helps to cover your hair with a towel
