SUN SPOT IS AN INFECTIOUS FUNGUS DISEASE !You can catch it off any contaminated surface indoors or out. You get infections from contact with a infected person or items they have had contact with contaminated.Your right.

I was always told that Sunspots are caused by bacteria that falls from your hair/scalp, lands on the skin and causes it to turn white (or not tan). Unless I am mistaken, can't you catch athletes foot from a stand up if not sanitized properly??

I wasn't insulting you, just asking a question(s) none of which you've answered except with rhetoric. Let's see your answers thus far:1. That's why hospital's use them. Hmm, or is it because it's a space concern? Or any other possible reason.2. The government isn't my mommy. Love the condom part too, I wish they would it would save some money. But I digress....You're from Canada, a country who's government found Howard Stern so offensive and morally objectionable to it's "people" that it had him removed officially from the airwaves. So, I guess in Canada what comes through the radio prompts more action that disease breeding devices.3. Why do you think we carry SunSpot Cream anti fungus treatment. Ok, first of all not every salon carries this, in fact it's a dog and doesn't sell. So your premise is that salons, again knowingly, provide unsanitary germ breeding devices to clients...actually advertise them in the paper and charge people money to lay in germ ridden beds, and then sell an $8 bottle of SunSpot lotion on top of it to them because they know they'll need it.You are the one who seems to be not overly educated on the topic you're commenting on. Now,I can agree with Linda for the very first time . What about foot fungus my friend? How do you, Mr. Sanitary, provide your clients with an germ free floor to stand on each time they tan in your booths? Is your salon set up like the lab's in Outbreak? Do your employees walk around in those sterilized suits with the big helmets and boots? Here's what I propose. You tell us what firm you're selling for or produce some CONCRETE, HARD, DOCUMENTED information to support your claims. Otherwise, how can we not think you're a germ phobe?

I realize this remark of your was directed at Sunboy, but I must interject something......Who in the **** wants to tan in sandals??? If I went into a salon and the attendant told me to wear my shoes, I would assume they didn't sanitize and I would beat a path to the door. I am sorry, but that sounds way 'out there' to me. Sunboy-yes, we have finally found a common ground on which we can agree! LOL!

What it really comes down to is...you can actually get disease everywhere. Touch a door handle get a cold, walk through a area someone sneezed in 1 minute ago catch a disease, you go out to eat and you food prep person has a virus, guess what, get a disease. You could actually sanitize your bed 16 times and they (the client)could still leave your salon with the flu.

Come on Bober, don't you like those neat thick tan lines on your feet? Kinda decorative no?Chipp, my replies were no more hostile than yours and certainly weren't insulting. Maybe your too sensative? But, that's 2 times you've not answered my questions. Makes me wonder what happens if you think I've insulted you a 3rd time?Sandals...geez. I suppose we have to provide those too? I can just see spraying those down like the bowling alley shoes.

sunboy I hit a very sensitive topic for you, an a few others. You made a choice and now you have to defend it.Because of your choice your clients are at higher risk then they need to be.Too bad for your clients you think its a joke, or non issue.
