I used to be, in another life, in the waterbed and furniture business. In that business advertising was a much larger factor in the business model than it is in this business. We all do advertise but not to the level the furniture business does. My question is does anyone else besides me think it would be nice to find a business that would sell you premade advertising campaigns be they TV, radio, print etc that you could have customized for you salon? In my old life you could buy these types of plans and create a great image for less dollars than you could ever do on your own. Just a thought for some wrangling on these long long off season days.

I wouldn't buy "pre-made" anything for advertising. All of our Radio, Print, etc. etc. advertisment never stays the same and we are changing the ads monthly sometimes, depensing on the market we are going for, time of year, seasonal trneds, specials, etc. etc. I think that every TV and Radio station out there will produce your ads at no cost to you. They make their money from the cost to run the ads, not the production. |
