I absolutely would have taken the topic seriously if it were presented in a serious manner. i.e. overweight person, person of size, large person, weighty individual, etc.

congrats laurie and thumbs up to u all the way and anyone else who lost weight. that is wonderful, just always remember how it felt to be overweight because a lot of people i know lost a lot of weight and they started to get cocky, and tease overweight people, so just remember, be proud of what goals u acheived, but don't let it go to yer head. ps- i saw yer pics and u look great-flaunt it girl!!!

thumbs up laurie. you go girl.chipp, i have had very thin people come out of a bed and the acrylic had broken on them, so don't accuse the overweight people for all the breakage.

Laurie, I checked out the pics too.....way to go!!! You look great!I guess the point I was trying to make by saying I was 600lbs is precisely what Laurie brought up. You don't know who you are talking to on these boards and a little sensitivity goes a long way, especially with issues such as weight that are a big sore spot with many people. As anyone knows that has met me or seen my pic in IST, I am not 600lbs, but I merely wanted to get my point across. This industry is all about looking good and it is a struggle for many people to control their weight, made even harder if you are in an industry where looks play a big part. Am I getting sappy??? I was extremely thin before I had my son, gained a TON of weight while preg and afterwards and have recently lost 70 lbs to get within 10 lbs of my pre-preg-weight. Sorry...I am babbling. Thanks!
