keeping employees motivated

We offer the employees commision in the busy season but not in the slow season.What do you do to keep your employees motivated to keep on selling lotions and packages?

Wouldn't the slow season be the BEST time to offer incentives? If you aren't moving as much product, that would perhaps help.

I give my employees commisions year around on lotion sales. Once they get used to having that bonus check they really push the sells more.

My employees also get commisions year round. I feel this does keep them motivated and always keeps them fresh as far as sales techniques are concerned

I Think that offering your employees year round incentives and commision is just wonderful! Everyone loves to be rewarded and making an extra dollar or two really boosts them to sell products! =0)Sun Kissed New Tanning Salon Owner
