I just added Body Jewelry to my lineup of retail goods. I am hoping it goes well since many of my clients are pierced *somewhere*, I might as well make it available to them. Does anyone out there have experience with it already? If so, how has it gone? I try to sell items that are only related to tanning and looking/feeling good. I don't want to look like a flea market!

We have tried alot of different jewerly and we found that our best seller was thumb rings, toe rings, and ankle bracelets. We didn't have such luck with tantoo's or earrings. We have not tried too many body piercing items either. Although we haven't tried it we would probably do well to sell fingernail deco's.------------------Tracie WilliamsSandollar Corporation

Funny you should mention the nail decorations, since that is what I am considering as well! I am able to display such things well since I have 3-4 inch finernails as it is. They are big attention getters and even more so when I have taken the time to paint designs on them or add stones etc. I could be another 'walking billboard'!

Body Jewelry is HOT!!! & sells great!
Try Emanuel Jewelry for best prices - 1-800 - 845 - 2171 - They are currently looking for a rep in the tanning industry to handle their line. So, if u know any reps in the industry, tell them to call Emanuel. |

The only body jewelry I carry is belly rings and tongue rings, that seems to be the two most popular places to be pierced, plus tose are the two places I am pierced.. It sells really well espcially the trendy stuff like glow in the dark or UV active.

It is funny how different things sell in different parts of the country. Our UV/Glow-in-the-dark stuff was a shelf sitter! I ended up sending it back.
Our primary movers are also tongue and belly button, but more general ones, such as captive bead hoops in various gauges/sizes move well also. Eyebrow jewelry also sat there and ended up being sent back. |

I think the only reason UV is so popular here is because there are so many clubs and bars that have the blacklights. I wear a uv activated tongue ring when I go to a club and it looks like a little ball of light when I talk, I used to wear them a lot because it is a conversation piece, and then I met my husband, so now I just wear it because I like it.
